Provincial Training Workshop | Oct. 28, 2023

Dear Volunteer Facilitators, Steering Committees & Board,

We are pleased to invite you to attend our Provincial Training Workshop on Saturday, October 28th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The workshop will cover the topic of Intergenerational Parenting Differences.

The workshop will provide the participants with the skills, knowledge, and a better understanding of how to support parents and kinship caregivers in their parenting role. This year, we will again be offering our Provincial Training Workshop online via Zoom for our volunteer facilitators and steering committee members.

We will provide more information including a zoom link two weeks prior to October 28th.

Lunch

We will be issuing $25 to all volunteer facilitators and steering committee members that attend this important event. We want to support you with the cost of having your lunch purchased and brought in. Please note that payment will be sent via EFT following the event to those that register and attend.

Childcare

We also recognize that volunteers with children at home may need to have childcare to attend this event. If this is something that you require, please indicate as such on the registration form. A $25 childcare subsidy will only be paid out to those that both request it and attend the workshop. This will be sent out following the event.

When you complete the registration form, please feel welcome to make suggestions for future discussion topics, we will be sure to include your suggestion in our next series of Facilitator Teleconferences.
