What are Parenting Workshops?
Parenting Workshops are free, interactive, and informative online workshops on a variety of parenting topics. These workshops provide parents and caregivers with practical strategies for supporting the development of their children.
Upcoming Workshops

This workshop will explore the diverse factors that impact teenagers’ food choices and body image, the importance of modeling positive food and body behaviour, and how to promote a positive food environment.

This workshop will explore:
- Kinship Care vs. Foster Care, Key considerations for permanency, Legal arrangement considerations
- Permanency legislation CFCSA/An Act Respecting First Nations, Inuit, Metis Children,
- Youth & Families, the Adoptions Act and the Family Law Act Government supports for caregivers
- After a short presentation, the advocates will respond to questions, comments, and deeper discussion.
