Executive Director

Jane was named Executive Director in May 2023. She has been working at PSS since 2013, with previous roles in communications and managing Kinship Care research and mobilization.

A former school trustee, and Vice Chair of the Vancouver School Board, Jane is passionate about public education, and has spent her life working for a safer, more welcoming, inclusive and just society for children and youth. She has played a key role in the development and implementation of policy to end harassment based on sexual orientation and gender identity in schools – in Vancouver and across Canada.

Jane ran an independent bookstore in Vancouver for almost two decades, and was a volunteer co-host and producer of a current affairs radio program on community radio.
